A Day in the Life The Coronary & Renal Denervation (CRDN) businesses are integral parts of Medtronic’s CardioVascular Portfolio. Our customers include both clinical and non-clinical professionals, primarily within Interventional Cardiology—such as Cardiologists, Theatre and Catlab Managers, Specialist Nurses, Directorate Managers, and Procurement Teams. To further support our growth, we are seeking a full-time, independent, flexible, and open-minded Sales Representative for the South region of Portugal. In this role, you will provide both sales and technical support, drive business strategies within your territory, and consistently meet or exceed financial and non-financial objectives—all while strengthening Medtronic’s reputation in the market. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with sales experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare. As a Sales Representative, reporting directly to the Portugal Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing medical innovation. You’ll be at the forefront of raising awareness and driving adoption of state-of-the-art Coronary & Renal Denervation solutions. This remote Temporary position is based in Lisbon and requires frequent travel throughout the region to engage and support customers, making you a key catalyst for both growth and positive change. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Promote and sell Medtronic’s products and services within the assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with healthcare professionals Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services Conduct market research including customers and competitors’ activities Implement market development plans/strategies and make changes as needed Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, and Marketing Required Knowledge and Experience: University degree preferably in Cardiopneumology A first experience in healthcare system or medical (device) industry will be a plus Fluent in English and Portuguese (reading, conversation, and writing) Computer literacy is a must, clean driver’s license and willingness to travel intensively Willingness to work with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians and provide expert technical support in the operating room in the hospitals Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
