About this Opportunity As a Senior Software Developer, Web Application, you will join a cross-functional scrum team that values achieving goals as well as continuous product and team improvements. You will use Ruby on Rails, Node, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL to build engaging user experiences backed by scalable, high-performance code. What you’ll do: Design and develop robust full-stack solutions Work in a cross-functional scrum team to achieve regular sprint goals Mentor and review the code of more junior team members Embrace software development best practices such as TDD, documentation, design patterns, secure coding, and algorithmic optimization What you’ve done: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 7+ years of web application development experience 2+ years using SQL and NoSQL technologies Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures Experience implementing and troubleshooting high-usage, high-throughput systems Experience optimizing website performance on both the client and server-side Ideal candidates will have experience developing with cloud services such as AWS Experience with services, microservices, and serverless environments is highly desirable Familiarity with Agile methodology and the Scrum framework is beneficial Bonus points for AI/LLM/MCP implementation experience Working at Spokeo Spokeo offers a bonus program, equity plans, and a 401(k).
