[Remote] IT Systems Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to combine technical skills with big picture thinking in aerospace and national defense. The role involves shaping the development and upgrades of aerospace systems by leading digital engineering and model-based systems engineering activities, while also designing and evolving these systems with advanced technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • 1+ years of experience administering IT Enterprises with digital engineering tools, including Cameo Systems Modeler, IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, STK, CATIA, and Solidworks
  • 1+ years of experience with IT engineering and systems integration, including Digital Engineering Tool integrations
  • Experience analyzing IT systems and applications against SRG or STIG requirements
  • Experience with IT systems accreditation and Authority to Operate (ATO)
  • Experience building, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing applications
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with networking and cybersecurity
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science and Technology
  • Experience with requirements and architecture development across the systems development lifecycle
  • Experience performing analysis studies in a modeling and simulation environment
  • Experience supporting aerospace systems engineering activities
  • Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell
  • Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • UML or SysML OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification
  • Cloud Certification such as Cloud+ or AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional CSEP or ASEP Certification
