Technical Services Analyst
California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking a Technical Services Analyst to support business operations in the Marysville District Office. The role involves assisting customers with IT procurement activities, providing technical support for various devices, and managing IT assets throughout their life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with IT procurement related activities, which includes, but are not limited to determination of needs, procurement submittal and life cycle management
- Provide administrative and technical support on printers, computers, laptops, tablets, mobile devices and telecommunications services
- Provide support for all phases of end user device life cycle management including procurement, deployment, installation, configuration, maintenance and operations, and surplus
- Provide end user training in the configuration and use of client technologies
- Collaborate with peers and management to update and recommend standards, processes and procedures, and technology practices
- Track, monitor, and audit IT assets to maintain accountability using standard asset management tools and techniques in compliance with the State Administrative Manual and other applicable policies and regulations
- Perform functions including, but not limited to, researching, writing, reporting, presenting, etc
Skills
- Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle
- Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) required
- Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment

- Applicants with foreign transcripts/degrees must provide a transcript/degree U.S. equivalency report evaluation that indicates the number of units and degree to which the foreign coursework is equivalent

- Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee’s designated headquartered location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions.
