If you thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about delivering top‑quality meals and support to travelers worldwide, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Position Overview

The Onboard Services Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a pivotal role within arenaflex’s Atlanta Operations Hub, supporting the catering division that serves the world’s busiest airports. You will work closely with flight crews, catering teams, and logistics partners to ensure that every meal, snack, and beverage is prepared, loaded, and delivered accurately and on time. This full‑time position is based in New Jersey, USA, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $26, with a standard 8‑hour shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the hand‑off of catering items to flight crews, ensuring all meals are correctly loaded and documented.
  • Conduct pre‑flight kitchen inspections and oversee the loading of catering trucks, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain inventory of “hold items” and manage restocking from terminal access points to reduce delays in truck dispatches.
  • Serve as the subject‑matter expert for ATL catering data, providing guidance on product specifications and mileage calculations.
  • Track, analyze, and report on “shock and delight” metrics for MI‑19 trends, complaints, and flight groups, driving continuous improvement.
  • Participate in “Food Decision Rush” meetings, collaborating with supervisors to refine product selections, resolve issues, and implement feedback.
  • Engage with arenaflex’s online portal (SkyHub) to post updates, share best practices, and contribute to brand building initiatives.
  • Perform quality‑control checks before dispatch, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with the physical handling of catering trucks, including occasional loading and unloading of items up to 40 pounds.
  • Support team members during peak periods, adapting to shifting priorities and taking on additional duties as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain an airport security badge.
  • Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 40 pounds safely.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to COVID‑19 health protocols.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in airline catering, hospitality, or a related customer‑service role.
  • Quality assurance or inspection experience is highly valued.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, especially inventory management and catering software platforms.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a talent for diffusing tense situations and providing solutions on the fly.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Understanding of aircraft types and kitchen layouts to facilitate efficient loading processes.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Prioritize the needs of flight crews and passengers, ensuring a seamless catering experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurately track inventory, verify product specifications, and conduct thorough quality checks.
  • Problem‑Solving: Quickly identify and resolve issues that could impact flight schedules or passenger satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams, sharing insights and supporting collective goals.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast‑changing environment, adjusting to new procedures, technologies, and operational demands.
  • Physical Stamina: Maintain the energy and strength required for active, on‑site duties throughout the shift.
