Whether you are a recent graduate, a career changer, or someone who has self-taught the fundamentals of analytics, this role is designed to welcome you into the world of professional data science with structured mentorship, hands-on project exposure, and a clear pathway for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that will allow you to apply statistical and mathematical techniques to real business challenges. Your day-to-day contributions will directly influence how the company makes strategic decisions, identifies opportunities, and measures performance. Below is a detailed overview of what your role will entail:

  • Apply Statistical Analysis Tools and Techniques: Use established statistical software, programming languages, and analytical frameworks to derive insights from structured and unstructured data, and translate those insights into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders across various departments.
  • Build Predictive Models: Develop statistical models that forecast future outcomes under multiple scenarios, helping arenaflex anticipate customer behavior, optimize operations, and enhance product offerings.
  • Support Enterprise Decision-Making: Assist in executing statistical and mathematical analyses that inform business decisions across functions such as marketing, supply chain, finance, customer experience, and product development.
  • Identify Analytical Methods and Modeling Approaches: Collaborate with senior data scientists to choose appropriate algorithms, statistical predictive models, and modeling techniques that best fit each unique business scenario and potential future outcome.
  • Conduct Advanced Statistical Research: Apply analytical rigor and sophisticated statistical methods to large datasets, including predictive statistical models, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, survey design and evaluation, and data mining techniques.
  • Develop and Validate Hypotheses: Create simple tests and validate hypotheses using advanced mathematical, statistical, scientific, and computational methods. This includes working with probability models, machine learning algorithms, pattern recognition, data visualization, predictive analytics, and other cutting-edge approaches.
  • Document Project Components: Maintain thorough documentation of assigned project elements, including business objectives, data collection and processing methods, primary analytical approaches, final algorithms used, detailed results, and key analytical metrics.
  • Communicate Findings: Assist in creating presentations, reports, and other materials that clearly explain project findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, and may include preparing and presenting interpretations of results to internal clients.
  • Escalate Issues and Roadblocks: Proactively communicate challenges, risks, and obstacles as they arise to ensure timely resolution and project continuity.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Interact with team members, peers, and occasionally external partners to provide semi-regular data-related updates on assigned projects.
