What You'll Do – Key Responsibilities

As a Locker+ Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, no two shifts will look exactly the same. Your role is multi-faceted, blending physical activity, technology use, and genuine customer interaction. Below is a detailed look at what your day-to-day will involve:

  • Order Management: Receive incoming customer orders, sort and stow them accurately in designated locker compartments, and prepare outgoing deliveries for courier pickup. You'll be responsible for processing customer returns, verifying item conditions, and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Customer Assistance: Be the go-to resource for customers who have questions about their orders, locker operations, or return procedures. Whether they need help opening a locker, understanding a notification, or resolving an issue, your patience and clarity will make all the difference.
  • Problem-Solving: Tackle a variety of scenarios that require quick thinking and resourcefulness. From misplaced orders to locker malfunctions, you'll work through challenges calmly and effectively, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Workspace Upkeep: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment at all times. This includes wiping down surfaces, ensuring lockers are functional, and keeping the surrounding area free of hazards.
  • Site Operations: Take ownership of opening and closing duties for the Locker+ location, including cash handling (where applicable), inventory checks, and securing the site at the end of your shift.
  • Technology Use: Utilize smartphones, handheld scanners, and other digital tools to sort, scan, track, and prepare orders efficiently. Comfort with technology is essential, as our systems are designed to streamline your workflow.
  • Delivery Coordination: Receive truck deliveries, unload shipments, and verify that all packages have arrived safely and in the correct quantities.

Physical & Schedule Requirements

This role is active, hands-on, and best suited for individuals who enjoy being on their feet. To succeed, you'll need to be able to:

  • Perform physical labor, including lifting packages up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Stand and walk for shifts lasting up to five hours at a time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items safely and efficiently.
  • Navigate stairs when working at multi-level locations.
  • Commit to a part-time schedule, with availability between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.. Schedules will vary week to week, offering you flexibility while meeting business needs.
