Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute data‑driven strategies to increase ocean shipment volumes while maintaining profitability.
- Collaborate closely with the MD, Ocean and regional ocean management teams to shape and refine the ocean product roadmap.
- Support carrier development initiatives, including rate negotiations, service level assessments, and performance monitoring.
- Analyze carrier service metrics, routing efficiencies, and pricing structures to identify opportunities for cost reduction and service enhancement.
- Partner with sales and operations teams as the subject‑matter expert on ocean logistics, providing guidance on market conditions, competitive positioning, and customer expectations.
- Design, implement, and communicate pricing programs that align with volume targets and corporate profitability goals.
- Prepare and deliver regular service reviews, KPI dashboards, and performance reports to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Maintain compliance with arenaflex policies, risk management protocols, and regulatory requirements to protect the organization’s reputation and financial health.
- Assist in budgeting processes, tracking annual spend, and reporting results against financial targets.

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the international freight forwarding industry, with a strong focus on ocean freight operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in ocean contract management, rate negotiation, quoting, and routing analysis.
- Proven track record of influencing carrier performance and driving volume growth through strategic initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and external partners.
