Position Overview

The Remote Data Entry Specialist will be a critical member of arenaflex's Content Operations team, responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining the metadata that powers our streaming platform. Every genre tag, synopsis, cast listing, language code, and release date you manage directly influences how millions of viewers discover and engage with content. This role requires unwavering attention to detail, strong organizational instincts, and the ability to work autonomously while meeting defined productivity and quality benchmarks.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across Content, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Localization teams, making communication and reliability essential to your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input, edit, and update content metadata across internal content management systems, including titles, descriptions, genres, tags, runtime information, cast and crew details, and language specifications.
  • Conduct regular data quality audits to identify discrepancies, duplicates, inconsistencies, or missing fields, and take corrective action to maintain database integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including Content Acquisition, Editorial, Operations, and Localization — to verify and reconcile metadata across multiple workflows and platforms.
  • Organize, categorize, and classify content information in alignment with arenaflex's internal taxonomies, style guides, and metadata standards.
  • Execute large-volume data entry projects with precision, maintaining a high throughput without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Flag potential content issues, anomalies, or system errors to senior team members and participate in root-cause analysis when required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to arenaflex's data security protocols, especially when handling pre-release or sensitive content information.
  • Meet and exceed individual productivity targets and quality benchmarks, with performance measured against established key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide feedback on workflow inefficiencies and contribute ideas for process improvements, automation opportunities, and tooling enhancements.
  • Stay informed about arenaflex's evolving content catalog, genre conventions, and platform features to make informed metadata decisions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data entry, content operations, catalog management, or a similar role — preferably within a digital media, e-commerce, library sciences, or technology environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a demonstrated track record of producing highly accurate work in high-volume settings.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines independently.
  • Proficiency with data entry software, spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets), and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfort working in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision, using collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document work and escalate issues.
