Associate Project Manager

Remote · USA Full-time New today

Narvar is growing! We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of our post-purchase customer experience platform for retail clients. This role is ideal for someone who brings foundational project management skills, thrives in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering value to customers through well-executed implementations. As an Associate Project Manager at Narvar, you’ll guide customers through onboarding and implementation, ensuring timely delivery, clear communication, and strong alignment across internal teams. You’ll play a key role in scaling our Professional Services practice by applying best practices and AI workflows, while growing your project management craft. Day-to-day Manage customer implementation projects end-to-end — from kickoff through post-go-live — ensuring alignment, tracking progress, managing risks, and driving toward key milestones. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, including Customer Engineers and other internal stakeholders, to ensure high-quality and on-time project delivery. Serve as the primary point of contact for your customers throughout the implementation, building strong relationships and setting clear expectations. Facilitate technical discussions and ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into implementation plans. Support change management activities including scope adjustments, project timelines, and issue resolution. Maintain up-to-date and accurate project documentation, timelines, and communications with both internal and external stakeholders. Proactively identify risks and dependencies early in the project lifecycle, and implement mitigation plans to keep delivery on track and avoid surprises. Participate in post-go-live handoff and knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure ongoing customer success. What we’re looking for 2-4 years of experience in client-facing project management, onboarding, or technical implementation. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience CAPM or similar certification is a plus. Experience in a SaaS environment is preferred. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, retail systems, or logistics technology is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to find creative solutions to project challenges. Experience working cross-functionally with technical and customer-facing teams. Comfort discussing basic technical concepts (e.g., APIs, data mapping) — you don’t need to code, but you’re not afraid of JSON. High accountability, adaptability, and curiosity — you thrive in a fast-moving environment where every project is a little different. Experience with tools like Salesforce, Jira, Rocketlane, or similar is a plus. Who you are Ownership. Your projects are yours. You sweat the details and take pride in a clean go-live. When something slips, you ask what to do next, not whose fault it is. Meticulous, but fast when it counts. You keep your project plan and client updates accurate, and you know when good-and-shipped beats perfect-and-late. Steady when things get messy. When scope shifts, a date moves, or three things break at once, you stay composed, reprioritize, and keep the people around you calm rather than adding to the noise. Wired to grow. You ask a lot of questions, actively seek feedback, and get visibly better project over project. Know when to raise a hand. You make confident calls within your scope and surface the bigger trade-offs early. Why Narvar? We're on a mission to simplify the everyday lives of consumers.
