Ellucian Tech Lead/ Delivery Manager (EDTech)
Job Title: Techno Functional Delivery Manager/ Tech Lead (Ellucian)– (Banner/Colleague) Location: USA (Remote) Employment Type: Full-Time Skill- Ethos Integration APIs, Data Connect, Ellucian (Baner/Colleague) About the role We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to own the execution and coordination of Ellucian integration engagements. You will sit at the centre of a fast-moving delivery team — managing a group of developers, acting as the primary point of contact between the technical team and the client, and ensuring daily and weekly delivery cadences are met with clarity and accountability. This is not a hands-on engineering role; it is a coordination, communication, and outcome-ownership role for someone who is fluent in the Ellucian ecosystem and thrives under operational tempo. Key responsibilities Team management · Manage a team of 6–8 integration developers, including assignment of work, capacity tracking, deadline setting, and prioritisation. · Drive outcomes proactively — anticipate blockers before they surface and keep delivery velocity consistent. · Review completed developer work with a focused quality check and approve for client submission or return with specific, actionable feedback. Client liaison · Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team and the client, managing feedback received one to two times daily. · Translate client feedback into clear, developer-ready instructions and push back to the client quickly when feedback is ambiguous or incomplete. · Facilitate weekly sessions with the client team to align on deadlines, expectations, and upcoming priorities. · Work directly with clients to answer developer questions, gather missing information, and remove dependency blockers without delay. Ellucian SME coordination · Engage Ellucian functional SMEs on a scheduled basis (typically twice weekly) and proactively reach out between sessions when clarity is needed to avoid delivery delays. · Interpret SME input and translate it into actionable guidance for the development team. Reporting & governance · Provide daily written and verbal status updates to Ellucian leadership — covering what was completed, what remains, active blockers, and proposed mitigations. · Maintain a clear and current view of delivery health across all workstreams at all times. Requirements - Must have · Proven delivery management experience on Ellucian (Banner or Colleague) implementation projects · Strong understanding of Ethos Integration APIs, Experience, and/or Data Connect · Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate developer teams in a fast-paced environment · Excellent written and verbal communication — able to summarise complex delivery status for both technical and executive audiences · Confident in managing client relationships, including pushing back diplomatically under pressure Nice to have · Experience working with Ellucian functional SMEs or Ellucian Professional Services · Familiarity with higher education business processes (student, finance, HR) · Exposure to integration architecture patterns (REST APIs, event-driven, data pipelines) · Prior experience in a consulting or managed services environment · PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent delivery certification Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Benefits:
