  • Execute end‑to‑end payroll runs for assigned APAC entities using Workday HCM and third‑party payroll providers.
  • Validate payroll inputs against source data, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions with payroll carriers.
  • Maintain compliance with local statutory regulations, tax filings, and reporting deadlines for each country.
  • Prepare and post payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports, supporting internal finance audits and external regulatory reviews.

Data Entry & Quality Assurance

  • Enter, verify, and update employee data, compensation details, and expense records with a focus on zero‑error delivery.

Employee Support & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll‑related inquiries via the Zendesk ticketing system, delivering timely and courteous resolutions.
  • Provide clear guidance to employees on payroll policies, tax implications, and benefits enrollment.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to communicate payroll calendar changes, system updates, and compliance requirements.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Philippines and Singapore payroll teams to align processes, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with global payroll service providers to ensure on‑time payouts and accurate statutory contributions.
  • Participate in global system alignment initiatives, contributing insights from the APAC perspective.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on payroll and accounting experience within a BPO or shared services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience processing payroll for APAC countries, specifically the Philippines, Korea, Australia, or India.
  • Strong knowledge of local payroll legislation, statutory reporting, and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail), Microsoft Excel, and Workday HCM.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional APAC language proficiency is a plus.

  • Experience with third‑party payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, PayAsia).
  • Familiarity with HRIS integrations and data migration projects.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex payroll data and identify trends.
  • Proactive problem‑solving attitude, capable of working independently in a remote setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
