Our innovative platform connects generous donors and skilled volunteers with rigorously vetted, top-performing nonprofit organizations in nearly every country. One hundred percent of every donation made through our platform goes directly to the cause — no middlemen, no overhead deductions, just pure impact. Every partner organization featured on arenaflex has been carefully evaluated using our proprietary Quality Model, ensuring that contributors can give with confidence and transparency.

Our work has earned recognition from some of the most respected names in media and business, including features on Bloomberg, Oprah.com, CBS, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times. arenaflex has also been highlighted in more than sixteen influential books, including the Harvard Business Review Guide to Delivering Effective Feedback, Arianna Huffington's Thrive, and Laura Arrillaga-Andreessen's Giving 2.0. We've been acknowledged multiple times on Great Nonprofits' annual Top Nonprofits lists and recognized by HuffPost as one of the best volunteering matching websites available today. Our thought leadership continues to grow through regular contributions to Forbes and the Christian Science Monitor. To date, we have matched more than 22,000 volunteers worldwide, generating an extraordinary $31 million worth of volunteer service hours — and we're just getting started.

If you're looking for a meaningful way to re-enter the workforce, transition into the nonprofit technology sector, or apply your existing Salesforce expertise to a mission-driven cause, this returnship opportunity at arenaflex could be the perfect fit.

The Returnship Opportunity: A Second Chapter for Skilled Professionals

This position is part of arenaflex's dedicated Returnship Program, specifically designed for professionals who have taken an extended career break following a major life change, a personal transition, or who are simply ready to pivot into a new, purpose-driven industry. Whether you stepped away to care for family, pursue education, recover from illness, raise children, or simply needed time to reassess your professional direction, we welcome you back with open arms. We believe that career interruptions should never define or limit your potential, and we are committed to providing a supportive, flexible, and inclusive re-entry point into the workforce.

The ideal candidate for this Salesforce Data Entry Returnship possesses the analytical mindset, technical curiosity, and meticulous attention to detail required to research, organize, and input information into our Salesforce.com CRM platform. As a critical member of our global operations team, you will help arenaflex maintain accurate, up-to-date records of our nonprofit partners, corporate collaborators, volunteers, and donors — data that directly fuels our ability to serve communities in need around the world.

Key Responsibilities and Core Duties

As a Salesforce Data Entry Specialist on the arenaflex team, your day-to-day contributions will play an essential role in supporting our mission. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate Data Entry into Salesforce: Systematically input and update detailed information about nonprofit partners, corporate clients, volunteers, and donors into arenaflex's Salesforce.com CRM platform with a high degree of precision.
  • Strategic Field Configuration and Labeling: Apply appropriate pull-down menu labels, dropdown categories, and data tags within Salesforce to ensure consistent and searchable records, enabling effective tracking and reporting across the organization.
  • Contact Research and Verification: Conduct thorough research on current and prospective clients and partners using specialized tools such as Spokeo and Snov.io to verify contact details, organizational affiliations, and professional backgrounds.
  • Comprehensive Bio Research and Documentation: Investigate and compile detailed biographical information on clients, partners, and key stakeholders, then enter this content into Salesforce to enrich our organizational knowledge base.
  • Special Project Ownership: With demonstrated success and a proactive, positive attitude, take ownership of special projects that align with your growing expertise and arenaflex's evolving operational needs.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Routinely audit existing records to identify duplicates, outdated information, and inconsistencies, contributing to the overall integrity of our CRM database.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across communications, partnerships, and program management teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with organizational reporting requirements.

Essential Qualifications and Educational Background

To thrive in this returnship at arenaflex, candidates should bring the following foundational qualifications:

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional training and experience. Exceptional students with strong GPAs and a demonstrated commitment to intellectual rigor are also encouraged to apply.
  • Salesforce CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with data entry within the Salesforce.com platform is essential. Familiarity with core Salesforce objects, fields, and basic configuration is highly valued.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to work, with the ability to spot inconsistencies and ensure data accuracy across large volumes of information.
  • Research Competency: Comfort and skill in using online research tools, including platforms like Spokeo and Snov.io, to gather and verify contact and biographical information.
  • Self-Direction and Time Management: The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting established deadlines.
  • Written and Verbal Communication: Clear, professional communication skills in English, with the ability to summarize research findings and document information concisely.

Preferred Skills and Core Competencies

While not strictly required, the following additional skills and attributes will help you stand out as a candidate for the arenaflex returnship:

  • Prior experience working with nonprofit organizations, philanthropic platforms, or social impact initiatives
  • Familiarity with CRM best practices, data hygiene standards, and information governance principles
  • Experience using research and enrichment tools beyond Spokeo and Snov.io, such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms
  • Comfort working with international teams and an appreciation for cross-cultural communication
  • Adaptability and a growth mindset, particularly valuable for professionals transitioning back into the workforce
  • Basic understanding of data privacy regulations, including GDPR and similar international compliance frameworks
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration tools like Slack or Asana
