Why This Role Matters

Data is the lifeblood of any educational institution. At arenaflex, precise data entry and meticulous record‑keeping enable us to track student progress, secure grant funding, and comply with federal regulations such as FERPA. As a Data Entry Support Worker, you will be the guardian of this critical information, ensuring that every entry is accurate, timely, and secure. Your contributions will directly influence the quality of education we provide and the effectiveness of our programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple databases to guarantee accurate record‑keeping and organized data structures.
  • Enter required grant data into the National Reporting System (NRS) with precision, meeting monthly, quarterly, and year‑end deadlines.
  • Maintain comprehensive attendance and assessment records, adhering to established procedures and best practices.
  • Uphold FERPA compliance by safeguarding student data and ensuring only authorized personnel have access.
  • Conduct regular error checks and perform data clean‑up in NRS to support reliable reporting and analytics.
  • Provide timely data access to staff, administrators, and external stakeholders, facilitating informed decision‑making.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet local, state, and program deadlines, balancing competing priorities effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate student outcomes, including pre‑ and post‑testing results for state‑mandated assessments.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and collaborative projects.
  • Scan, label, and archive physical documents to create a seamless digital filing system.
  • Perform inventory checks of office supplies and reorder items as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Execute basic word processing tasks, such as drafting correspondence, creating templates, and formatting reports.
  • Organize digital files and materials, ensuring logical folder structures and consistent naming conventions.
  • Prepare mailings, assist with filing, and support other administrative functions as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; ability to navigate and input data into NRS or similar reporting platforms.
  • Accuracy & Speed: Demonstrated ability to perform office work quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Organizational Ability: Strong planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with team members and convey information clearly.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to work under pressure, handle frequent interruptions, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Previous experience in an educational or nonprofit setting, particularly with grant reporting or student data management.
  • Familiarity with FERPA regulations and best practices for data security.
  • Experience using cloud‑based collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams).
  • Basic knowledge of data visualization tools or reporting software.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Physical & Cognitive Requirements

While performing the duties of this role, you will regularly engage in spoken communication, requiring clear articulation of instructions and ideas. You must possess normal cognitive abilities, including the capacity to learn, recall, and apply organizational policies and procedures. The position involves frequent sitting and extended periods of stationary work. Occasionally, you may need to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds, or handle lighter items repeatedly throughout the day.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
