Why This Role Matters

As a Technical Customer Care Specialist II – Inventory Support & Data Quality Champion, you will be the backbone of arenaflex’s inventory ecosystem. Your expertise will ensure that vehicle listings, images, and data feeds are accurate, timely, and reliable across all arenaflex platforms. By providing world‑class technical support to dealers, third‑party vendors, and internal teams, you will directly influence the quality of the automotive buying journey and help drive revenue for our partners.

Key Responsibilities

Customer‑Facing Technical Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers experiencing inventory‑related issues, delivering first‑call resolution whenever possible.
  • Provide clear, courteous, and solution‑focused communication via phone, email, and chat, adapting your style to suit dealers, sales teams, and third‑party vendors.
  • Maintain detailed case notes in arenaflex’s CRM (Salesforce) to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Inventory Data Quality Management

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data load errors, image mismatches, and feed inconsistencies on the arenaflex marketplace and affiliated sites.
  • Collaborate with over 200 third‑party data vendors to diagnose root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of inventory issues.
  • Conduct regular audits of dealer contracts and inventory feeds to verify compliance with arenaflex standards and industry best practices.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Dealer Operations, Product Management, IT, National Accounts, and Sales to streamline processes and share insights that improve the overall product experience.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert (SME) on special projects, providing technical guidance and helping shape future enhancements to arenaflex’s data pipelines.
  • Develop and deliver ad‑hoc reports to dealers, sales leadership, and internal stakeholders, translating technical findings into actionable business recommendations.

Process Improvement & Change Management

  • Identify recurring pain points and propose systematic improvements to reduce manual intervention and increase automation.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving business priorities, taking ownership of new responsibilities as arenaflex scales its inventory operations.
  • Participate in change‑management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions for both internal teams and external partners.

Essential Qualifications

  • Geographic Requirement: Must reside within the Central or Eastern Time Zones.
  • High School Diploma/GED plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., a degree or certification with up to 1 year of experience, or 5 years of hands‑on experience).
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort navigating multiple enterprise systems simultaneously (e.g., arenaflex’s internal Homenet, data‑load tools, Salesforce).
  • Strong customer‑service orientation with exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude for troubleshooting complex inventory, image, and data‑load issues, with a proven track record of rapid learning and knowledge retention.
  • Flexibility to work rotating Saturdays and occasional overtime to meet service level agreements and project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Hands‑on experience with UNIX/Linux environments, SQL querying, and FTP file transfers.
  • Background in database support or data‑integration roles, especially within the automotive sector.
  • Familiarity with dealer management systems (formerly known as ADP, Reynolds, etc.)—experience with any integrated dealer platform is a plus.
  • Prior work in a technical help‑desk or sales‑support setting, demonstrating the ability to balance technical problem‑solving with business objectives.
  • Bi‑lingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish) to support a diverse dealer base.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex data‑feed problems, identify patterns, and develop logical solutions.
  • Collaboration: Proven skill in building strong partnerships across functional teams and external vendors.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with shifting priorities, new technologies, and evolving business processes.
  • Decision‑Making: Confidence to make informed judgments, even when faced with ambiguous information.
  • Time Management: Expertise in juggling multiple concurrent tasks without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
