Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Write clean, high‑performance C++ code for core infrastructure components, ensuring they meet arenaflex’s standards for reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Code Review & Mentorship: Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders, provide constructive feedback, and champion best practices such as style guidelines, testability, and performance optimization.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop automated testing frameworks, conduct thorough code testing, and collaborate with QA teams to guarantee that new features are robust and production‑ready.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to internal documentation, technical guides, and learning resources, keeping them up‑to‑date with product changes and user feedback.
  • Incident Triage & Debugging: Quickly diagnose and resolve production issues, working across software, hardware, and network layers to maintain the highest levels of service availability.
  • Architecture & Scaling: Participate in the evolution of arenaflex’s system architecture, designing solutions that can scale to billions of users and petabytes of data.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, security engineers, and operations teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions that align with business goals.
  • Innovation & Exploration: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, propose proof‑of‑concepts, and drive adoption of innovative approaches that keep arenaflex at the forefront of the industry.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Professional Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on software development experience in C++ with a strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
    • At least 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, including 1 year focused on software design and architecture.
    • Proven track record of building large‑scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, and familiarity with compute platforms, hardware, or storage technologies.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, version control (Git), build systems, and performance profiling tools.
  • Problem‑Solving Ability: Demonstrated capability to analyze complex problems, devise efficient solutions, and implement them under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Education: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 1 year in a technical leadership role, guiding teams through design decisions and project execution.
