Vendor Management Specialist (Day/Mid Shift - Fully Remote)

We are seeking a Vendor Management Specialist to join our team on a day/mid shift, fully remote basis. As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining relationships with our vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality goods and services. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.   • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and select potential vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure the best possible pricing and terms.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Continuously evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and documentation.
  • Develop and implement vendor management policies and procedures.
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and provide feedback to vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and changes in the industry to inform vendor selection and management strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Train and support team members on vendor management processes and procedures.
  • Resolve any disputes or conflicts that may arise with vendors.
  • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with vendors.
  • Monitor vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Participate in vendor audits and assessments.
  • Continuously strive for excellence in vendor management and contribute to the overall success of the company.
