Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and maintain high‑volume data across multiple internal databases and cloud‑based platforms with precision.
  • Perform routine data quality checks, flagging inconsistencies, duplicates, or missing fields for immediate remediation.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including claims, member services, and IT—to resolve data discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Adhere to arenaflex’s data governance policies, security protocols, and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
  • Generate periodic reports on data entry performance metrics, highlighting trends and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new data entry staff, sharing best practices and tips for optimal productivity.
  • Continuously explore automation tools and macro scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and reduce manual effort.
  • Maintain organized documentation of data entry procedures, updates, and version control for audit readiness.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1‑2 years of hands‑on data entry or administrative experience in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation)—and familiarity with database management tools (e.g., SQL, Access, or proprietary arenaflex platforms).
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to spot errors, maintain consistency, and uphold data integrity under tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Ability: Proven track record of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing workload, and meeting daily/weekly targets.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with health‑care data sets, claims processing, or member enrollment systems.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices in data security.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, or custom macros.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and adapt to evolving technology stacks.
  • Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP) or related fields.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Accuracy & Precision: Commitment to error‑free data entry and meticulous verification.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive approach to identifying root causes of data issues and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently while also contributing to a cohesive, supportive team environment.
  • Time Management: Efficient handling of high‑volume workloads without compromising quality.
  • Adaptability: Openness to change, continuous learning, and embracing new tools or processes.
