Role Overview – What You’ll Do

As a Remote Pre‑Licensed Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the front line of support for policyholders, helping them navigate insurance products, resolve billing issues, and understand policy changes. You will also serve as a mentor to newer agents, sharing best practices and guiding them through complex scenarios. This role is a springboard to becoming a fully licensed insurance agent, with arenaflex covering the cost of study materials, exam fees, and licensing across all 50 states and territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, empathetic service to policyholders via phone, chat, and email.
  • Resolve high‑complexity consumer issues, providing clear guidance and actionable solutions.
  • Assist policyholders with billing inquiries, payment processing, and account adjustments.
  • Facilitate policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide real‑time coaching and support to first‑level representatives handling escalated cases.
  • Document interactions accurately in the CRM system, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Participate actively in the five‑day paid licensing training, completing assignments and practice exams.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including underwriting, claims, and compliance—to resolve multi‑departmental issues.
  • Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and state insurance regulations.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience (call‑center environment preferred).
  • High school diploma or GED; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute with accuracy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with a clear, professional tone.
  • Logical problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Comfortable using a desktop computer, Windows operating system, and standard office software.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
