Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with utility and product teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements into precise data specifications.
  • Maintain and enrich the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data pipeline, ensuring that every chat interaction is captured accurately and stored in arenaflex’s enterprise‑wide data platform.
  • Design, develop, and sustain robust data models that support high‑performance analytics, standardized metric definitions, and reproducible reporting.
  • Leverage transformational technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to enable batch and real‑time analytical solutions that meet stringent data quality and latency requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive data‑entry tasks, creating scripts and tools that improve efficiency and reduce manual error.
  • Partner with the Global Services Network (GSN) and Advanced Engineering Teams (AET) to prioritize, scope, and monitor data initiatives across multiple use cases.
  • Conduct thorough testing, validation, and documentation of data flows to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal governance standards.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance system performance, data integrity, and overall operational excellence.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies—daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives—to ensure timely delivery of data assets and alignment with business priorities.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and shell scripting in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with product managers and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies, including the ability to break down work into incremental, testable pieces delivered on a regular cadence.
  • Proven track record of delivering high‑quality data solutions that meet both technical and business expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional typing speed (minimum 70 WPM) with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
