We pride ourselves on building inclusive, people-first workplaces that value accuracy, accountability, and collaboration. From professional development opportunities to a culture that champions work-life balance, we are committed to making arenaflex a place where team members feel valued, supported, and inspired to do their best work every day.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist within the Human Resources department at arenaflex, you will take ownership of critical data management tasks that keep our HR systems accurate, up-to-date, and fully compliant. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Employee Data Management: Accurately input, update, and maintain comprehensive employee information across our HR databases and information systems. This includes personal details, employment history, compensation records, benefits enrollment data, performance review notes, and other sensitive HR documentation.
  • Data Integrity & Accuracy Oversight: Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure that all entered data meets the highest standards of accuracy and completeness. Identify and resolve data discrepancies, flag inconsistencies for review, and maintain strict protocols that safeguard the integrity of our HR records at all times.
  • Data Cleanup & Organization Projects: Lead and support structured data cleanup initiatives, including deduplication of records, normalization of data formats, archiving of outdated files, and reorganization of legacy datasets to improve accessibility and usability across the HR team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR Generalists, Talent Acquisition specialists, Benefits Coordinators, and other team members to provide timely data support for onboarding, offboarding, payroll cycles, reporting requests, and other HR operational needs.
  • Report Generation & Documentation: Assist in generating routine HR data reports, spreadsheets, and documentation summaries that support management decision-making, compliance audits, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality Maintenance: Uphold the strictest standards of data confidentiality and security in accordance with applicable privacy regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. Handle all employee information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Process Improvement Support: Contribute ideas and feedback to help refine and improve data entry workflows, tools, and standard operating procedures to increase efficiency and reduce error rates across the department.
  • System Updates & Training Assistance: Stay current with updates to HR information systems and data entry software, and assist in training or knowledge-sharing sessions for other team members as needed.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following core requirements:

  • Proven Data Entry Proficiency: Demonstrated experience performing high-volume data entry tasks with consistently strong accuracy rates. A typing speed of at least 50–60 words per minute with high precision is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: A natural and well-honed ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and anomalies in datasets. You take pride in producing error-free work and understand that even small data mistakes can have significant organizational impacts.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple data projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain organized digital filing systems that make information easy to locate and reference.
  • Remote Work Readiness: Demonstrated ability to work independently, stay self-motivated, and maintain high productivity levels in a remote work environment. You are comfortable with virtual collaboration tools and can manage your time and schedule effectively without direct in-person supervision.
  • Computer & Software Literacy: Proficiency in standard office software suites (Microsoft Office 365 or Google Workspace), with advanced skills in spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including the use of formulas, filters, pivot tables, and data validation tools. Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) is a strong plus.
  • Time Management & Prioritization: Strong ability to manage competing deadlines, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver high-quality work within established timelines — especially important when supporting time-sensitive HR operations like payroll cycles and benefits enrollment periods.
  • Communication & Collaboration Skills: Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with HR team members, ask clarifying questions, and provide status updates in a remote team setting.
  • Understanding of Data Confidentiality: A solid grasp of the importance of data privacy, confidentiality, and security in the HR context. Familiarity with relevant regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or general employment data privacy standards is highly valued.
  • Availability & Scheduling: Reliable availability to work the specified hours, with a commitment to being responsive and accountable within those timeframes. Flexibility to accommodate occasional schedule adjustments for peak HR periods is appreciated.

Preferred Qualifications

While not strictly required, the following qualifications will help you stand out as an ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience working within a Human Resources department or in an HR data management capacity
  • Familiarity with popular HRIS platforms such as Workday, BambooHR, ADP Workforce Now, or similar systems
  • A background in administrative support, records management, or information governance
  • Experience conducting data audits, data migrations, or large-scale data cleanup projects
  • Knowledge of employment law basics and HR compliance requirements
  • Any relevant certifications, such as a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or HR-related credentials

Skills & Competencies for Success

Beyond formal qualifications, we look for team members at arenaflex who bring the following competencies to the table:

  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to assess data critically, understand patterns, and identify actionable insights or areas of concern within large datasets.
  • Integrity & Discretion: An unwavering commitment to ethical data handling and respect for the personal and professional information of others.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with evolving tools, processes, and technologies — the data landscape is always changing, and we value team members who can grow with it.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying issues, investigating root causes, and developing effective solutions rather than simply flagging problems.
  • Team-Oriented Mindset: Even in a remote setting, you understand that your work contributes to a larger team effort and are willing to step up, support colleagues, and celebrate collective wins.
