[Remote] Senior Manager, Core Infrastructure Engineering

Oracle is seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Manager to lead critical execution for the Data Center Software and Automation team, enabling the delivery of some of the world's largest AI centric data centers around the globe. This role involves leading a team of software engineers responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and operation of critical software and automation capabilities for Oracle’s next-generation Cloud Infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing software engineering team
- Drive critical execution across cross-functional initiatives with clear ownership, accountability, and delivery discipline
- Communicate program status, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to senior and executive leadership
- Build strong partnerships across engineering, product, infrastructure, operations, and global delivery teams
- Translate complex technical and operational challenges into clear business impact, execution plans, and leadership decisions
- Own delivery planning, roadmap execution, and prioritization across multiple programs in a fast-paced Agile and DevOps environment
- Identify and remove organizational blockers that slow execution or create delivery risk
- Partner with architects and senior engineers to ensure platform designs are scalable, reliable, secure, and operationally sound
- Improve engineering processes, delivery predictability, operational rigor, and overall team effectiveness
- Foster a culture of collaboration, urgency, ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Develop team members through coaching, feedback, career planning, and clear performance expectations
- Represent the team in senior leadership forums, business reviews, roadmap discussions, and executive-level communications

- Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
