[Remote] Sales Operations Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sycomp is a global IT services and logistics provider specializing in cloud, data center, endpoint management, and security solutions. They are seeking a motivated Sales Operations Specialist to support their global Sales and Sales Operations teams, ensuring smooth sales transactions and exceptional customer experience. The role involves managing sales processes, supporting Salesforce operations, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive business success.
Responsibilities
- Construct and analyze strategic proposals for sales opportunities
- Submit deal registrations accurately to secure vendor approval and sales protection
- Manage the quoting process with vendors and distributors to support sales transactions
- Maintain strong working relationships with key vendors represented by Sycomp
- Maintain strong customer relationships that drive pipeline, revenue, and profitability globally
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsiveness and accuracy
- Support the Salesforce platform, including user assistance, troubleshooting, and basic data maintenance
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for Salesforce enhancements and process changes
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation, opportunity updates, and order details
- Track orders end‑to‑end, ensuring accurate documentation, follow-through, and delivery coordination
- Review and update sales documentation, templates, and materials
- Support continuous improvement projects within the Sales Operations team
- Prepare recruiting and sales performance reports, dashboards, and forecasting inputs
- Assist with process documentation and upkeep of SOPs
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Operations, Finance, Logistics, and vendor teams as needed
- Complete other duties and tasks as required to support ongoing business needs
Skills
- 3+ years of Sales Operations experience, ideally within a technology, global, or IT-focused organization
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, vlookups), plus Word and PowerPoint
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM, including reporting, troubleshooting, and data integrity
- Experience with quoting, deal registrations, and vendor/distributor coordination
- Understanding of sales processes, CRM workflows, pipeline management, and order lifecycle
- Ability to schedule, coordinate, and communicate effectively across multiple global time zones (PST shift required)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive customer or pricing information
- Experience in a technology or global work environment
- Self-starter, proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn new systems and processes
