[Remote] National Account Manager- Retirement

The National Account Manager for Retirement will be responsible for managing key client relationships, developing business strategies, and ensuring client satisfaction while driving sales and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

  • Use industry experience and company knowledge to effectively build a comprehensive business plan with each national account
  • Effectively represent the organization's investment and service solutions to clients in order to retain existing placement and identify new pipeline opportunities
  • Create distribution and marketing strategy in partnership with internal counterparts and ensure implementation of strategy across these functions
  • Conduct effective prep and follow-up meetings with investment and executive leaders when meeting with client firms to ensure optimal client experience, retention, and opportunity pipeline wins
  • Apply a unique understanding of the clients' business to serve as the voice of client to many internal business units
  • Work effectively with client engagement manager and other internal team members with appropriate collaboration, role clarity, and transparent communication
  • Stay current in understanding of our investment solutions in order to retain business
  • Analyze highly complex data, trends, plans, and strategies to keep up to date with sales/relationship performance

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree AND
  • 10+ years of national accounts management/research coverage experience
  • Series 7, 63, 3 (can obtain 3 in role)
  • Experience distributing RIA/FIA's and partnering with Independent Marketing Organizations (IMO's)
  • CFA or CIMA designations
