[Remote] Scrum Master / Project Manager (Healthcare & PBM) - W2 Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VITS Consulting Corp is seeking a highly motivated Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager to lead and drive complex healthcare and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) initiatives. The role involves blending Agile delivery leadership with strong project management practices to ensure successful execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities
- Lead Agile teams as a Scrum Master while applying project management best practices to deliver strategic initiatives
- Drive project planning, execution, tracking, and reporting across multiple workstreams
- Identify, manage, and proactively mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
- Partner with business, technology, and operational stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, deliverables, and timelines
- Foster accountability and ensure action items are followed through to completion
- Provide clear, consistent, and proactive communication to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Monitor project health, remove impediments, and support teams in achieving delivery objectives
- Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and executive-level updates
- Promote continuous improvement and Agile best practices while maintaining a practical, delivery-focused mindset
Skills
- 5 10 years of experience in Scrum Master, Project Manager, or hybrid Agile delivery leadership roles
- Experience within Healthcare and/or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) environments is required
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and project management principles
- Proven ability to manage risks, drive issue resolution, and ensure successful project delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership presence and ability to influence without direct authority
- Strong organizational, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments
- Experience managing large-scale healthcare technology, operations, or transformation initiatives
- Scrum Master, PMP, SAFe, or other relevant Agile certifications
- Demonstrated career progression with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership
- Ability to balance Agile coaching with practical project execution and delivery management
