[Remote] Vibration Analyst

The Vibration Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing mechanical vibrations of machinery to predict maintenance needs and provide tailored solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine data collection on machinery using vibration analysis tools
  • Analyze vibration data to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of machine health
  • Provide detailed reports on findings and recommend maintenance actions
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Proven experience including certification or equivalent with machinery vibration analysis of at least an ISO Category II
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols during all activities
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in vibration analysis
  • Present and demonstrate technology products and services to prospective clients
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements

Skills

  • Mechanical/Electrical background with a strong understanding of machinery
  • Certification as a Vibration Analyst
  • Proficiency in using vibration analysis software and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills for reporting and team collaboration
  • Proven experience including certification or equivalent with machinery vibration analysis of at least an ISO Category II
  • Minimum High School certificate or GED
  • Certified in other Condition Monitoring Technologies (Infrared, Ultrasound, Motion Amplification & Balancing)
  • Proven experience in condition monitoring or a related industry
  • Strong in Microsoft Office 365 applications and other computer tools
