[Remote] Senior AI Technical Product Manager

They are seeking a Senior AI Technical Product Manager to lead the illumend initiative, focusing on creating user-friendly AI-driven products and managing the product delivery pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Proven track record of product leadership, ideally gained at a start up tech firm where you developed a rigorous approach to the product craft
- You Do not just understand AI; you operate in a 'fully AI way,' leveraging tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar to accelerate documentation, ticketing, and live prototyping
- You refuse to rely on second-hand information. You are driven to dig in and learn the customer’s needs directly to balance user value against business costs and technical effort
- You are comfortable owning the long-term strategy while remaining deep in the weeds of technical requirements, detailed documentation, roadmap planning and ticketing
- You are a confident leader who prioritizes solving the customer’s problem above all else, even if it means challenging internal assumptions or executive direction
- Turn complex, dense B2B requirements into a frictionless, consumer-oriented user experience. Abstract away the underlying complexity so the product feels effortless to the end-user
- Design features, workflows, and prompts rooted in a deep understanding of human behavior, explicitly engineered to motivate users to take the specific actions required for success
- Operate in a 'fully AI way.' Utilize AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar) to exponentially accelerate documentation, draft comprehensive PRDs, write highly detailed developer tickets, and build rapid, live prototypes
- Take absolute ownership of the product delivery pipeline. Translate customer workflows and complex technical architecture into precise, granular, and airtight technical requirements ready for development
- Refuse to rely on secondhand information. Dig in directly to learn the customer’s actual needs, habits, and psychology to ensure we are designing the absolute right solutions
- Conduct rapid prototyping experiments to test functionality, validate user behavior, and quickly iterate on new UX concepts before they hit full development

- Deep familiarity with product-led growth, behavioral psychology, or UX methodologies aimed at driving user activation, engagement, and habit formation
- A strong technical background (perhaps having come up through a technical lane or engineering background) that allows you to confidently drive architecture discussions and bridge the gap between product complexity and engineering execution
- A strong aversion to big-company bureaucracy. You thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment where you must be self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable operating with high velocity
- An obsessive empathy for the user. The rare ability to ruthlessly cut down clutter and simplify user flows down to their absolute essence
- Mastery of modern AI tools to optimize your daily work—using AI to summarize user feedback, draft specifications, organize complex information, and keep delivery artifacts thorough and current
- You are thorough, diligent, and obsessive about clean documentation, roadmap planning, and ticket structuring
