What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will wear many hats and play a critical role in delivering an unparalleled customer experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers both inside our service center and out on the lot, providing expert guidance on arenaflex products and services. Be the trusted advisor who helps customers make confident decisions.
  • Technology-Driven Operations: Utilize our state-of-the-art smartphone-based scanning and dispatch technology to manage rentals, process returns, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Equipment Handling: Safely move, position, and hook up trucks and trailers as part of the rental process. Operate a forklift (with certification provided upon hire) and assist with loading and unloading equipment.
  • Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections of all equipment on the lot, checking fluid levels, identifying wear and tear, and ensuring every piece of equipment is safe, clean, and ready for the next customer.
  • Customer Education: Answer questions clearly and confidently, educating customers on the proper use of equipment, safety protocols, and the full range of services offered by arenaflex.
  • Transaction Management: Prepare accurate rental invoices, process payments, and accept returned equipment with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Specialized Installations: Install hitches and trailer wiring, and safely fill propane tanks (with full certification provided through arenaflex upon employment).
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing professional development through arenaflex University, our internal education platform designed to expand your skills, knowledge, and career potential.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members across departments to ensure seamless operations, and take on additional duties as assigned to support the broader goals of the team.

What We Are Looking For: Minimum Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who meet the following essential requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License: You must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean, acceptable driving record throughout your employment.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Weekend Availability: Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This is a non-negotiable requirement for this specific role.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to help others.

  • Physical capability to perform the duties of the role, including standing for extended periods, moving around both indoors and outdoors, reaching items at varying heights, and handling equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs (assisted or unassisted).
  • A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to remain calm and helpful in a busy, customer-facing environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands-on technical skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all company protocols and procedures.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The work environment at arenaflex is dynamic and hands-on. You will be working in a setting that involves moderate risks and discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. This may include working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. The use of protective clothing and gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required at times.

Physical requirements include long periods of remaining stationary, moving around both indoor and outdoor spaces, positioning yourself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs, either with assistance or independently.
