Key Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Customer Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor and technical champion for our largest and most strategic customers. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with senior IT leaders to assess current infrastructure, identify migration opportunities, and design end‑to‑end arenaflex Cloud Infrastructure solutions.
  • Delivering compelling technical presentations, workshops, and proof‑of‑concept (POC) sessions that showcase the unique advantages of arenaflex Cloud services.
  • Developing repeatable migration assets—templates, scripts, reference architectures, and best‑practice guides—to accelerate future engagements.
  • Collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams to feed real‑world customer insights into the roadmap for arenaflex Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Providing hands‑on assistance during critical migration phases, including workload assessment, containerization, network redesign, and performance benchmarking.
  • Traveling to customer sites, industry conferences, and arenaflex events to deepen relationships and share thought leadership.
  • Maintaining a deep technical expertise in virtualization, container orchestration, serverless platforms, and micro‑service architectures.
  • Documenting migration strategies, risk mitigation plans, and success metrics to ensure transparent communication with stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience designing, implementing, or supporting virtualization or cloud‑native architectures in a customer‑facing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical presentations or public speaking engagements to senior technical and business audiences.
  • Proficiency with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with service meshes such as Istio.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex workloads and translate them into actionable migration roadmaps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
  • Hands‑on experience architecting and building scalable, secure, distributed systems for enterprise workloads.
  • Deep knowledge of serverless frameworks, micro‑service patterns, and modern DevOps toolchains.
  • Track record of influencing product direction through customer feedback and collaborative engineering.
  • Experience with multi‑cloud or hybrid‑cloud environments, and an understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP).

  • Technical Acumen: Mastery of Linux/Unix operating systems, networking fundamentals, and storage architectures.
  • Solution Design: Ability to craft end‑to‑end architectures that balance performance, cost, and security.
