Remote · USA Full-time New today

About arenaflex

arenaflex is a leading specialist in the subrogation space, helping insurance carriers and property owners recover the costs of damage claims. By acting as the bridge between claimants, contractors, and insurers, we ensure that the party responsible for a loss pays for the damage, allowing our clients to focus on their core business. Our reputation is built on four foundational pillars – Process, Results, Culture, and Experience – which guide every interaction, from the first phone call to the final settlement.

Operating in a fast‑growing, technology‑enabled environment, arenaflex combines rigorous data‑driven processes with a people‑first mindset. We are proud to be recognized repeatedly as a top workplace, and we invest heavily in community outreach, employee development, and a healthy work‑life balance.

Why This Role Matters

As a First Notice of Loss (FNOL) Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for engineers, technicians, and field operators reporting property damage. Your ability to capture accurate information, convey empathy, and guide callers through the reporting process directly impacts the speed and effectiveness of claim resolution. In short, you help our clients get paid faster and keep the cycle of damage recovery moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from field professionals reporting FNOL incidents, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Accurately record claim details into a customized, cloud‑based database, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal standards.
  • Analyze photos and maps provided by callers to determine the location and extent of underground or structural damage.
  • Communicate claim status updates to customers and internal stakeholders, following up on any missing information or documentation.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting and investigations teams to flag high‑risk or complex cases for further review.
  • Participate in special projects, such as process improvement initiatives, training program development, or pilot testing of new software tools.
  • Maintain a dedicated, distraction‑free home office environment, using the equipment supplied by arenaflex.
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) for talk time, readiness, and overall performance metrics.

Compensation & Bonus Structure

arenaflex offers a competitive base salary complemented by a multi‑tiered bonus system that rewards productivity and quality. The bonus tiers are calculated on the total fees generated across the call center each month and are paid on the paycheck following the period in which they are earned.

  • Level 1 Bonus: $105 per month
  • Level 2 Bonus: $150 per month
  • Level 3 Bonus: $205 per month

In addition, the FNOL Incentive Program provides a daily $10 reward for meeting or exceeding talk‑time, readiness, and service‑level targets. This incentive is calculated daily and paid on the 5th of the following month.

Essential Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; applicants must reside within the United States.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. and not residing in California, North Carolina, Washington State, Illinois, or Oregon.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of proven call‑center or customer‑service experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Typing speed of at least 55 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and PDF handling.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, active listening, and the ability to follow scripts precisely.
  • Capability to interpret visual information (photos, maps) to assess damage.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration platforms.
  • Prior exposure to insurance, claims, or subrogation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Comfort with flexible scheduling; the department operates 24/7/365, and multiple shifts are available.

Benefits & Perks

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrues at 5 hours per pay period, equating to roughly three weeks of vacation after the first full year.
  • Internet Stipend: arenaflex contributes $50 per month toward your home internet service.
  • Retirement Savings: A matched 401(k) plan to help you build long‑term financial security.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus employee assistance programs.
