Overview: Veeco’s process equipment solutions enable the manufacture of LEDs, power electronics, hard disk drives, compound semiconductors, MEMS, semiconductor advanced packaging and wireless devices. The Logistics Analyst at Veeco is responsible for the movement and coordination of corporate and customer owned material as pertains to reverse logistics and repairs. The position interacts with many internal and external Veeco customers and procedures that govern materials movements. The scope is all Veeco Business Unit’s and Worldwide Depots and other inventory stocking locations. Responsibilities: Administer RMA’s, customer paid repairs, repairs for stock, planning and forecasting Participate with Logistics and Veeco Supply Chain team to ensure compliance to all international and trade regulations and support implementation of any procedural changes Format and publish monthly Key Performance Indicators related to repairs and reverse logistics Work with customer service, purchasing, warehousing operations, manufacturing and transportation providers to resolve issues and solve problems regarding repair orders Utilize SAP and MS Office products to enter orders, track, forecast, and create/ update metrics Assist in creation and maintenance of Return Material Authorizations for customer and Veeco owned materials throughout the entire disposition process, this may include physical inspection of returned goods Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years or HS Diploma with minimum 6 years of relevant experience is required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong written and oral communication skills Strong analytical skills Intermediate to Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills highly preferred SAP experience is a plus Salary and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $55,000-$72,000, plus a bonus opportunity.
