As a Senior Data Analytics & Voice‑of‑Customer Engineer, you will be at the nexus of data engineering, analytics, and product development. You will translate raw survey data into actionable intelligence, design robust data models, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that every customer voice is heard, understood, and acted upon.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with product owners, data scientists, and the Agile technology team to gather, refine, and prioritize business requirements for VoC initiatives.
- Data Modeling & Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models on the arenaflex data platform, ensuring high‑quality, reliable, and performant data pipelines.
- Big Data Processing: Leverage Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python (including PySpark) to process large‑volume survey data, delivering both batch and real‑time analytics solutions.
- Metric Definition & Standardization: Establish clear, standardized metric definitions and data quality checks to support consistent reporting across the organization.
- Automation & Tooling: Build and maintain automation scripts (Shell, Python) for data ingestion, transformation, and validation, reducing manual effort and increasing reliability.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, implement performance tuning, and ensure data pipelines meet latency and throughput requirements.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct rigorous unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing to guarantee data accuracy and integrity across all use cases.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce comprehensive documentation, best‑practice guides, and training materials for internal teams and future hires.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively propose enhancements to existing processes, tools, and architectures to drive efficiency and innovation.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell scripting in a production environment.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing large‑scale data pipelines and data models.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, with experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high‑quality solutions.
