About the Role
We are hiring a Customer Service Associate – Delivery Operations & Customer Experience Specialist to join our last-mile delivery team. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will be the critical link between our customers, warehouse operations, and delivery partners. You will work directly on-site at one of our state-of-the-art delivery stations, providing real-time, in-person support to customers while also handling phone and email communications. Your work will directly contribute to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the continued success of arenaflex's world-class logistics network.

Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that keep our customers happy and our operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Direct Customer Engagement: Communicate with customers in person at the delivery station, as well as via phone and email, to address their questions, concerns, and delivery needs.
- Empathetic Problem-Solving: Listen actively to customer concerns, empathize with their situations, and prioritize their needs to deliver the best possible outcomes.
- Brand Representation: Uphold arenaflex's core values in every interaction, treating every customer with respect, dignity, and professionalism.
- Issue Resolution: Identify problems quickly, think logically through solutions, and make effective decisions on behalf of the customer to resolve issues on the spot.
- Expectation Management: Set clear, realistic expectations with customers regarding delivery timelines, potential delays, and resolution processes.
- Clear Communication: Compose grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses to customer inquiries across email and chat platforms.
- Judgment and Decision-Making: Approach every problem with sound logic and good judgment, ensuring the most appropriate outcome for the customer and the company.
- Operational Coordination: Work closely with warehouse associates, delivery partners, and internal teams to coordinate deliveries, reschedule shipments, and address logistical issues in real time.
- Flexible Scheduling: Work a full-time schedule of 40+ hours per week, with flexibility to support operational needs including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
This role requires physical activity in a fast-paced warehouse environment. With or without reasonable accommodation, you must be able to:
- Carry, lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 49 pounds
- Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout your shift
- Stand and walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours

When a customer needs to reschedule a delivery, you'll coordinate with our delivery partners to make it happen. When you notice a potential delivery issue—such as a delayed shipment, a wrong address, or a missed delivery window—you'll spring into action, working directly with the warehouse team and drivers to resolve the problem before it escalates. Your goal is to ensure that every customer has a great experience without ever needing to escalate their concern.

Basic Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service, whether in retail, hospitality, call center, or a related field
- The ability to effectively prioritize your workload and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Outlook, including basic navigation, email management, and document handling
- Familiarity with multiple web browsers, database searching tools, and instant messenger platforms
Preferred Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and compassionately

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
arenaflex offers a competitive total compensation package that reflects the cost of labor across various geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from approximately $34,900 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $59,400 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
