Vendor Research Coordinator (1099 Independent Contractor) Remote Position Overview: We are seeking a highly resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented Vendor Research Coordinator to support our Strategic Haulers and Sourcing Operations teams. This role is focused on creatively identifying, sourcing, qualifying, and maintaining relationships with local service providers nationwide. You will play a critical role in expanding our vendor network, solving coverage gaps, and supporting high-volume, real-time sourcing needs. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy problem-solving, and are comfortable with high-volume outbound communication. Successful candidates will begin by supporting strategic vendor initiatives and may grow into direct order sourcing responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Sourcing & Discovery: Proactively research, identify, and recruit new local service providers using creative and non-traditional sourcing methods.
• Strategic Vendor Development: Support the Strategic Haulers program by onboarding high-quality vendors and strengthening long-term relationships.
• Outbound Communication: Conduct high-volume phone calls, emails, and outreach to vendors to gather service details, availability, pricing, and capacity.
• Coverage Gap Resolution: Solve sourcing challenges in difficult or underserved markets where vendors are not easily found.
• Pricing & Service Information: Collect, validate, and document vendor pricing structures, service rules, and operational details.
• Data Management: Accurately enter and maintain vendor information within internal CRM and pricing systems.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Build trust-based relationships with vendors to improve responsiveness, priority handling, and service reliability.
• Problem Resolution: Address discrepancies, availability issues, and service challenges through direct vendor communication.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with sourcing, operations, and sales teams to support order fulfillment and strategic growth.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor relations, recruiting, logistics, or a high-volume outbound role.
• English Level C1 speaker with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to conduct effective outbound outreach and build rapport over the phone.
• Creative, resourceful mindset with the ability to find solutions when standard approaches fail.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data, pricing, and CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience with CRM or database tools is a plus.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working remotely.
• Reliable internet connection, personal computer, and quiet work environment required.

Compensation:

• This is an hourly rate of $15
• As a 1099 independent contractor, you will not be eligible for company benefits.
