[Remote] Commercial Insurance Account Executive (Producer)

Tropolis is a leading national insurance brokerage seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Account Executive (Producer) to generate new business and develop client relationships. The role focuses on sourcing and closing new business opportunities while partnering with internal teams to ensure a high-quality client experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, centers of influence, networking, and targeted sales activity
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities across commercial and personal lines
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients and prospects by understanding risk exposures and recommending appropriate insurance solutions
• Partner with account management and service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and high-quality ongoing client service
• Drive profitable growth with a focus on desirable client segments and strong underwriting discipline
• Maintain an active presence in the marketplace and represent Tropolis professionally in the community
• Support renewal strategy, client retention, and cross sell opportunities within the book
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, carrier, and regulatory requirements
• Stay current on carrier appetite, underwriting requirements, and industry changes impacting commercial property and casualty clients

Skills

• Proven success in insurance sales, business development, or producer roles
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new business
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong accountability for results
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Active insurance license required, or ability to obtain promptly if applicable
