[Remote] Digital Advertising Sales Intern-to-Hire Program

They are launching a Digital Advertising Sales Intern-to-Hire Program aimed at ambitious candidates who want to learn about digital advertising sales through a comprehensive training experience.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a sales mentor and sales leadership throughout the program
- Attend sales training, team meetings, coaching sessions, and intern check-ins
- Research potential advertisers, agencies, brands, verticals, and decision-makers
- Build and maintain prospect lists using company-approved tools and research methods
- Create outbound sales messaging, including email drafts, call scripts, and follow-up notes
- Make outbound calls and send professional emails to generate interest and book meetings
- Practice discovery calls, objection handling, and sales pitch delivery with managers and peers
- Enter accurate lead, contact, activity, and follow-up information into the CRM
- Partner with peers, managers, marketing, account management, and HR to understand the full sales cycle
- Provide weekly updates on activity, learnings, challenges, wins, and next steps

- Recent college graduate or early-career candidate preferred; equivalent sales, hospitality, promotions, customer-facing, or entrepreneurial experience will also be considered
- No prior digital advertising experience required; a strong interest in sales and online advertising is important
- Strong work ethic and ability to take ownership of tasks
- Basic PC skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and web research
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
- Leadership, problem-solving, resilience, and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable computer, phone, and internet access for remote work, if applicable
