[Remote] Forward Deployed Engineer (AI & Agentic Systems)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ikuto is a rapidly growing AI consultancy that partners with leading organizations to transform their software and AI deployment. The Forward Deployed Engineer will work directly with customers to design and implement AI-driven solutions, improve operational efficiency, and act as a trusted advisor to engineering teams and business functions.
Responsibilities
- Working directly with customers to understand business challenges and desired outcomes
- Designing and deploying AI-powered solutions and agentic workflows
- Building integrations between platforms, APIs and AI services
- Leading workshops, discovery sessions and technical discussions
- Helping customers adopt AI technologies successfully across their organisations
- Translating complex technical concepts into business value
- Partnering with engineering, architecture and leadership stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities for further customer value and expansion
- Contributing to best practices, methodologies and reusable assets
Skills
- Experience delivering customer-facing technical projects
- Strong understanding of AI, LLMs, agents or automation technologies
- Experience working with APIs and modern software platforms
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness
- Experience operating in consulting, professional services or client-facing environments
- Experience with Anthropic, OpenAI or other foundation models
- Experience with agent frameworks and orchestration platforms
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
- Software engineering background
- Experience leading workshops, enablement programmes or transformation initiatives
