The Adaptive Planning Principal Consultant is responsible for leading end-to-end implementation of Adaptive Planning, providing expert guidance to clients, and mentoring less experienced consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Expert knowledge of Adaptive Planning and Adaptive Pro certification
  • Translating business requirements into functional designs of scalable, best practice models
  • Configure and optimize models, reports, dashboards, and workflows to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs
  • Provide guidance to clients regarding finance best practices to be incorporated in their model
  • Contribute to project management and ensure client satisfaction
  • Mentor and coach less experienced consultants, share best practices and provide expert guidance on Adaptive functionality

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 4 or more years of hands-on in Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Strong accounting/finance background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Up to 15% travel
  • This role does not support sponsorship
  • Adaptive Planning certified required
