🚨 Senior Fullstack Developer 🚨 🧑 💻 Python / Django / React / TypeScript 🧑 💻 📍 Remote — US East Coast hours 📍 💰 Competitive + Equity 💰 A highly funded, seed-stage AI startup is hiring a Senior Fullstack Developer. (Python,Django) They just closed a $5.4M seed round with 3+ years of runway, so you build without pressure. Founded by an academic with deep AI research roots, the team's PhD-level work on AI reliability is now a real product with enterprise customers ✅ What you'll do
- Own features end to end — from backend architecture to deployed enterprise environments
- Keep the backend reliable and ready to handle traffic as the platform scales
- Build systems to deploy on-prem across customer VPCs (AWS, GCP, Azure) with interoperable scaling
- Design observability and usage tracking across fragmented on-prem deployments to surface insights and errors
- Build Django-based services, APIs, and async workflows with Celery — and ship frontend features in React/TypeScript as needed
🎯 Who we're looking for
- 3–5+ years in backend-leaning full-stack engineering (Python / Django/Celery/Docker)
- Startup-forged — you've built and shipped features end to end in small, high-ownership teams
- Deployed scalable production systems and handled high traffic, with real reliability/scaling work across cloud environments
- Bonus: experience with AI/ML infrastructure, developer tooling, or agent products
- Proficient with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex)
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Not a fit if you've only worked at large corporations with narrow ownership scope
