VP, Product (Remote - US)

Remote · USA Full-time New today

At TixTrack, we support our clients by creating superior ticketing solutions for performing arts and cultural institutions through a combination of modern technology, beautifully simple design, and the art of listening. Headquartered in the heart of the Broadway Theatre District, NYC, we are a small, but growing team of hardworking, highly motivated individuals. We are passionate about our work and driven to innovate with our customers to solve current and future challenges with new solutions. Our core product, Nliven, is a real-time platform that helps venues manage ticket sales efficiently while creating a more engaging buying experience for customers. With a presence across both the US and UK, we are anticipating robust growth in 2026. Even with a highly dispersed, largely remote workforce, we stay connected through our Slack channels, virtual events and regional meetups. Come see how we “role”. About The Role We are seeking a VP, Product to serve as the operational strategist and cultural architect of our Product organization. This is not a status-quo maintenance role. You will partner with the key stakeholders, including the Executive Team, to operationalize our high-level vision, helping us deliver a product roadmap that serves the many needs of Performing Arts Theaters and propels our next leg of business growth. You will help us move further towards the Empowered Teams model, prioritizing collaborative dynamic process and communication with Engineering, Product, and Design. You will be the bridge between our technical transformation and our commercial success, working closely with Customer Success and Strategy & Growth to balance client needs with long-term platform health. This role, reporting to the CTO, is responsible for guiding the process for the Nliven and Tixtrack Pro’s product and design lifecycles, ensuring successful product launches and alignment with company goals. This position is full-time and fully remote. Candidates are preferred to be located in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut, but we will consider candidates located in California, Oregon, Colorado, Texas, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Louisiana, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Candidates may be required to travel and/or meet up in-person from time to time. There may also be an expectation in the future for hybrid work in a local office. About You

  • The Operator-Strategist: You excel at balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution. You love taking a big-picture vision and building the "machine" (process, people, data) to deliver it.
  • The Coach: You have a track record of mentoring PMs and Designers. You measure your own success by how many leaders you grow, not just how many features you ship.
  • The Tech-Fluent: You don’t need to have coded, but you understand the complexity of SaaS at scale. You can speak the language of engineering and understand the trade-offs between technical debt and new features.
  • The Diplomat: You have high emotional intelligence and can navigate friction with Customer Success and Sales, turning any potential conflict into alignment.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary strategic bridge between Product and Customer Success/Strategy & Growth. Move the organization away from "roadmap negotiation" toward objective-based planning.
  • Partner with the CTO to translate our Product Vision into actionable quarterly strategies, roadmaps, and goals.
  • Bring rigor to our decision-making. Data is your compass; you will drive the research, market data, and feedback loops that inform why we build what we build.
  • Move beyond traditional backlog management to deep coaching. Dedicate significant bandwidth to further developing our Product Managers into excellent product thinkers who own value and viability, while aligning the team around a shared product management approach.
  • Foster a culture of "missionaries, not mercenaries," where teams are accountable for business outcomes (retention, revenue), not just feature output.
  • Guide the team in adopting modern discovery techniques to validate ideas before we build, ensuring we only ship what matters.
  • Manage the "Build vs. Partner" decisions as we expand our ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Engineering to ensure our team topology evolves alongside our architecture and team growth. As we break up the Nliven monolith, you will ensure our product domains are set up to minimize dependencies and maximize team autonomy.
  • Partner with the VP, Customer Experience to manage customer-facing product rollouts and coordinate feedback to ultimately sustainably improve customer satisfaction in our products.
  • Treat our infrastructure, platform, and developer experience as a product, understanding that speed, quality, and reliability are features our customers feel.
  • Protect the team's focus. You will be the shield that prevents stakeholder thrash, allowing your PMs to focus on deep work while you manage executive expectations.
