Role Title: Data Product Owner Employment Type: Contract Duration: 6-12 months - opportunities for conversion Preferred Location: Remote - Must work EST hours We're looking for a Data Product Owner with strong Snowflake expertise to lead data sourcing and integration initiatives supporting a modern enterprise data platform. This role will own the roadmap and backlog for a Snowflake Data Sourcing team responsible for delivering high-quality, trusted data into the Unified Conformed Layer (UCL) What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Acting as the Product Owner for a Snowflake-based data sourcing team
  • Driving the intake, prioritization, and delivery of data onboarding and integration initiatives
  • Partnering with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into actionable user stories
  • Managing the backlog and ensuring alignment with enterprise data priorities
  • Collaborating with Data Engineers and Architects to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions
  • Supporting data mapping, transformation, lineage, and quality requirements
  • Identifying and managing dependencies across source systems, data consumers, and delivery teams
  • Leading Agile ceremonies and driving successful sprint execution
  • Ensuring data products are delivered on time and meet business expectations

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Data Product Owner, or Senior Business Analyst
  • Strong Snowflake experience, including data sourcing, integration, and transformation concepts
  • Experience working with enterprise data warehouses, cloud data platforms, or large-scale data ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of SQL, data mapping, data lineage, and data quality
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

  • Banking or Financial Services experience
  • Experience supporting enterprise data modernization programs
  • Knowledge of data governance and master data management practices
