Position Overview – Remote Customer Service / Sales Representative (Retention Specialist)

In this remote role you will serve as a Retention Specialist whose primary mission is to turn potential cancellations into lasting relationships. You will handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers who are considering ending their arenaflex service, and you will use your problem‑solving expertise to uncover underlying concerns, present tailored solutions, and ultimately retain the customer’s business. This position blends customer service excellence with persuasive sales techniques, making you a critical driver of both satisfaction and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer a steady stream of inbound calls from customers who wish to cancel arenaflex services.
  • Listen actively, identify the root cause of the cancellation request, and ask probing questions to uncover hidden concerns.
  • Present customized retention offers—such as discounted rates, billing adjustments, equipment upgrades, or additional services—to address each customer’s unique situation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales‑oriented call‑center environment, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding retention/sales goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to persuade, negotiate, and upsell while maintaining a customer‑first mindset.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, active listening, and the ability to convey complex information clearly.
