About the Role

As a Remote Live Chat Support Agent at arenaflex, you will be the digital front line of our customer service operation. You'll engage with travelers in real-time through our intuitive chat platform, helping them navigate everything from new flight bookings to complex itinerary changes. Your words will be your most powerful tool — each response you craft will have the power to turn a frustrated traveler into a loyal advocate.

This is a full-time, remote position with a competitive annual salary ranging from $40,000 to $50,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities

  • Real-Time Customer Engagement: Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate support to customers via our live chat platform, handling multiple conversations simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Travel Inquiry Resolution: Assist customers with a wide range of travel-related needs, including flight bookings, cancellations, itinerary changes, seat upgrades, baggage inquiries, and general travel policies.
  • Professional Communication: Maintain a consistently professional, friendly, and empathetic tone in every interaction, adhering strictly to arenaflex's customer service standards and brand voice.
  • Accurate Documentation: Log every customer interaction, feedback, and resolution in our CRM system with precision and attention to detail, ensuring seamless handoffs and continuity of care.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with team leaders, quality coaches, and other departments to resolve complex issues, share insights, and continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Product Knowledge Mastery: Stay up-to-date on arenaflex's partner policies, promotional offers, loyalty programs, and procedural updates to deliver accurate and timely information.
  • Escalation Handling: Manage escalated or sensitive customer concerns with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism, ensuring that every customer feels heard and valued.
  • Performance Excellence: Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to response time, resolution rate, customer satisfaction scores, and chat quality benchmarks.

What We're Looking For: Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Foundation: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate's or bachelor's degree in communications, business, hospitality, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing role — whether in retail, hospitality, call centers, or digital support — is highly desirable. Experience in the travel or airline industry is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional Written Communication: Impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills with the ability to adapt tone and style to different customer personalities and situations.
  • Remote Work Readiness: A dedicated, distraction-free home workspace, reliable high-speed internet connection, and the self-discipline to thrive in a remote environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating multiple software applications, chat platforms, and CRM systems simultaneously. Typing speed of at least 45 WPM is recommended.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess situations quickly and propose effective solutions.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our global customer base.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Previous live chat or messaging-based customer support experience.
  • Multilingual abilities (Spanish, French, or other languages are a major asset).
  • Familiarity with airline reservation systems or travel booking platforms.
  • Experience using tools such as Zendesk, Salesforce, Freshdesk, or similar CRM platforms.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and active listening skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during peak travel seasons or irregular operations.
