Remote Part-time English Teacher

Pay: $15.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Expected Hours: 2 – 25 per week Work Location: Remote

Job Summary: We are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to work with our elementary-level students in English! These courses will cover everything from phonics, ESL, creative writing, public speaking, and anything else under the K-6 English umbrella. Most of our teachers begin at 2–8 hours a week and add classes as more students start sessions. Who would be our ideal fit?

• Someone who loves working with kids and can teach in a developmentally friendly manner.
• Please do not apply if you intend to only teach for a few weeks. Our courses are built to last for 15 weeks with minimal interruptions.
• We expect kind, respectful, reliable, and high-quality candidates.
• Required to pass a background check.
• Must read and answer texts and emails promptly to ensure that students get quality feedback and respond to class opportunities.
• The ideal candidate will understand and be comfortable working with time zone differences.
• Teaching certification is preferred.
• We will confirm availability during the interview.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Proficiency in tutoring students in subjects such as math and literacy.
• Ability to create a safe and supportive classroom environment.
• Competence in utilizing learning technology to enhance instruction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have at least a completed bachelor's degree in elementary education, education, K-12 math, or a related field.

• Base salary of $15/hour for the first three months.
• After three months, eligibility to be evaluated for tier 2 teaching and additional bonuses.
