Role Overview – Key Information Researcher (Remote)

The Key Information Researcher will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of arenaflex’s AI and machine‑learning (ML) initiatives. Working closely with internal partners, you will help design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that power intelligent systems across our guest‑experience ecosystem. Your contributions will directly influence how millions of visitors interact with our attractions, mobile apps, and online services.

This position reports to the Attractions Functional Innovation team and is fully remote, offering flexible hours and a supportive environment that encourages growth and creativity.

Core Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Annotation: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and labeling data sets (images, video, audio, text) that train ML models for guest interaction.
• Collaboration & Ideation: Partner with cross‑functional teams—including product designers, engineers, and storytellers—to identify opportunities where AI can enhance the guest journey.
• Model Development Support: Work alongside data scientists to implement and scale ML solutions such as predictive analytics, computer vision, natural language processing, and anomaly detection.
• Productionization: Help translate prototype models into production‑ready services, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and security standards.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in automated testing, continuous integration, and code review processes to maintain high‑quality codebases.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create clear documentation for data pipelines, model workflows, and operational procedures to foster team knowledge.
• Performance Monitoring: Use monitoring tools to track model accuracy, latency, and resource utilization, and recommend optimizations.
• Project Coordination: Contribute to large‑scale AI projects, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Python and at least one major ML framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark MLlib, LightGBM, MXNet).
• 2+ years of professional experience working with cloud services platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for data storage, compute, and model deployment.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), quality assurance processes, and version‑controlled code repositories.
• Experience handling both structured and unstructured data (images, video, text, audio) and proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• 2+ years of experience with data workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect, or similar).
• Familiarity with version‑control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non‑technical partners.
