[Remote] Senior Manager-Software Engineering

Responsibilities
- Support and develop a collaborative team of software engineers to achieve goals
- Guide the design of cloud-native, distributed microservices using Kotlin Spring Boot and event-driven patterns
- Collaborate with product and design partners to refine impactful clinical workflows
- Cultivate high code quality through automated workflows and robust peer code reviews
- Champion standard clinical data practices utilizing modern FHIR and HL7 interoperability frameworks
- Foster a dedicated team culture focused on psychological safety, innovation, and continuous growth
Skills
- Proficient experience guiding engineering teams and managing technical software delivery workflows
- Skilled background developing distributed backend systems running in modern cloud environments
- Hands-on familiarity with JVM-based languages like Kotlin or Java and cloud architectures
- Deep commitment to cultivating a cooperative, team-oriented environment focused on learning
- Strong track record utilizing automated CI/CD practices and collaborative version control tools
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards including FHIR, HL7, or Epic integrations
- Understanding of event-driven software architecture patterns utilizing Kafka or MongoDB tools
- Experience with blob storage management and orchestrating data flows at enterprise scale
