[Remote] Intern, CPR Awareness & Project Management-Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The American Heart Association is a leading voluntary health organization dedicated to fighting cardiovascular diseases. They are seeking an intern for their Nation of Lifesavers team, which focuses on public health initiatives related to CPR awareness and project management. This internship offers valuable experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation within a non-profit environment.
Responsibilities
- Research existing campaigns and initiatives focused on sudden cardiac arrest to assess the competitive landscape
- Analyze research and propose a tiered approach for a recognition program to leadership
- Assist with layout, testing, and updates of dashboards for leadership reporting
- Maintain partner lists, track recognition progress, and update internal dashboards
- Draft communications and coordinate recognition materials for distribution
Skills
- College Seniors and Graduate students studying non-profit management, business, marketing, or communications preferred
- Demonstrated skills in research, such as market research
- Experience preferred in working with multiple data sources and visualizations
- Demonstrated skills in written communications, including the ability to translate dense content into easy-to-read and understand versions and formats
- Ability to build and cultivate relationships with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications
- Ability to deal professionally in a corporate or non-profit environment and assume responsibility for guiding projects and programs
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to support administrative tasks as needed
- Experience is Salesforce is a plus
- Excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proficient in Canva
- Required Equipment: Reliable Wi-Fi connection
- Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 9 am-5 pm
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
