Torentify is a mission-driven nonprofit organization seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support organizational growth and HR operations. The role involves collaborating with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and enhancing employee engagement in a fully remote work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and compliance requirements are consistently maintained
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and reporting systems
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and grant-related employment regulations
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and operational efficiencies
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to support organizational goals and growth initiatives
  • Contribute to workforce planning and organizational development strategies
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on HR best practices and employee management
  • Support organizational change management and growth-related initiatives
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts across the organization
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Support employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture
  • Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and workforce solutions
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, and workplace concerns
  • Support conflict resolution and corrective action processes when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Promote fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures
  • Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and related support
  • Support initiatives that enhance employee well-being and workplace satisfaction
  • Monitor workforce trends and recommend improvements to HR programs

Skills

  • 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and retention initiatives
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to partner effectively with leadership and employees at all levels
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience working within nonprofit, grant-funded, or mission-driven organizations
  • Experience supporting workforce planning and organizational growth initiatives
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred
