[Remote] Human Resource Business Partner - North America

They are seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to provide HR solutions that enhance business performance and employee engagement across North America.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders across Banyan Headquarters and North American Operating Companies to deliver strategic HR support aligned with business strategy and organizational goals
- Translate business priorities into actionable HR initiatives impacting workforce planning, organizational design, talent development, and succession planning
- Serve as a credible and trusted advisor on all HR matters, including employee relations, organizational effectiveness, leadership coaching, and cultural alignment
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop data-driven insights and solutions that drive continuous improvement
- Promote a positive, inclusive work culture by leading initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall employee experience
- Provide guidance and resolution on employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with North American employment laws, internal policies, and Banyan values
- Support the full talent lifecycle, including performance feedback, coaching, and development planning
- Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to ensure competitive, equitable compensation and benefits practices across North America
- Support M&A activity within the region, including HR due diligence and post-acquisition integration efforts such as change management, organizational design, and communications planning
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements in partnership with legal and compliance teams
- Mitigate HR-related risks and uphold high standards of data privacy, confidentiality, and governance
- Actively contribute to HR projects and the ongoing evolution of HR practices, tools, and systems, with a focus on scalability and operational excellence
Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 7 years in a Human Resources Business Partner or equivalent strategic role, with demonstrated experience supporting US-based organizations across multiple states; preferably within a multi-entity, shared services, or high-growth environment
- Broad and deep knowledge of HR disciplines, including compensation, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and employment law
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution across multiple HR functions
- Proven success navigating complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving organization
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of discretion, diplomacy, and influence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset
- Deep understanding of confidentiality, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance in an HR context
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and familiarity with HRIS and talent management systems
- Professional HR certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is strongly preferred
