[Remote] Consultant/Senior Consultant, Financials (Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Expenses, Suppliers)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alchemy.us partners with Higher Education, State & Local Government, and Healthcare institutions to maximize their investment in Workday technology. They are seeking a Consultant/Senior Consultant to lead in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Supplier Accounts, while ensuring customers effectively utilize Workday solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead in: Strategic Sourcing, Procure, Expenses & Supplier Accounts
- Understand customer business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to customers
- Work with customers to help convert legacy data into Workday
- Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions
- Provide project managers with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status
- Collaborate effectively and synergistically to team-based projects
- Ensure customers understand and take advantage of Alchemy and Workday best practices
- Help ensure customers remain referenceable once in production
- Take advantage of training opportunities to expand your skillset
- Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
- Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications
- Help mentor new and junior consultants and serve as a professional role model
Skills
- 3+ years of Workday Financials consulting with proficiency in Strategic Sourcing, Procure, Expenses & Supplier Accounts
- Demonstrated expertise leading and deploying Strategic Sourcing, Procure, Expenses & Supplier Accounts
- A background in Finance and Accounting
- Experience deploying Workday, Ellucian, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%
- Higher Ed (college/university) experience
- Active Workday Financials partner certifications
